The Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park holds within it a set of fairly well-defined Mountain Groups. The peaks surrounding Monte Greco all seem to be gathered around this enigmatic, isolated summit of the Park.

Photographically speaking, Monte Greco has little to offer on its south-western side. Much more eroded and overhanging, on the other hand, is its north-eastern side. To appreciate its aesthetics better it is certainly preferable to go up from the side of the Aremogna ski lifts.

Also of some photographic effect are the summit of Serra Rocca Chiarano and that of Rocca Chiarano. The long ridge photographed from the broad Valle di Chiarano can be very striking.

This photo gallery is a selection of panoramas with the most prominent peaks marked.
